For immunocompromised individuals please refer to specific high-risk eligibility.
Primary Series (First and Second Dose) Eligible groups:
- For 1st and 2nd doses, individuals must be 6 months of age and older at the time of their appointment.
- For individuals ages 6 months+ the recommended interval between the 1st and 2nd doses is 8 weeks
Third Dose (First Booster) Eligible groups:
1. All Individuals 12 Years and Older
- Individuals must be 12 or over at the time of their appointment.
- For individuals 18+, a third dose must be scheduled a recommended of 5 months (140 days) after the second dose.
- For individuals 12-17, a third dose must be scheduled a recommended of 6 months (168 days) after the second dose.
Every vaccination requires informed consent prior to administration. As part of our informed consent process, Lambton Public Health immunizers will provide a consultation at the clinic for each booster vaccination for the 12-17-year-old group.
Fourth Dose (Second Booster) Eligible groups:
1. All Individuals 18 Years and Older
- Individuals must be 18 or over at the time of their appointment.
- For individuals 18+, a fourth dose must be scheduled a recommended of 5 months (140 days) after the third dose.
2. Residents of Long-Term Care Homes (LTCH), Retirement Homes (RH), Elder Care Lodges, and elderly living in other congregate settings (e.g. assisted-living facilities, chronic care hospitals)
- For this group, third & fourth doses may be scheduled a minimum of 3 months (84 days) after the previous dose.
- Residents of these facilities will receive vaccinations onsite and do not need to book an appointment.
Fifth Dose (Second Booster) Eligible groups:
