The Point Edward Arena’s vaccination clinic currently administers over 1,000 vaccines a day. If one day of the clinic is cancelled it creates a slew of technical, process and other public health related issues. This almost became a reality recently when the mercury in the region started to rise. Summers in Lambton are hot and humid, and with zero air conditioning in the Point Edward Arena, a solution was needed quickly or the cancellation of 1,000+ vaccinations was a very real risk.
Zach Holmes and his crew at Ainsworth Technical stepped up and overnight provided a temporary AC solution while a permanent system is being installed. This ensured the clinic was able to continue running and protecting those in our community.
It’s this kind of community care and these types of efforts that have gotten our region through this pandemic, and will continue to move us forward to better days ahead. We can get through this if we work together. Because together, we are stronger.

“At Ainsworth technical we know the importance of getting the vaccine. Canada wide our techs have been working non stop in many various clinics, long term care homes and hospitals keeping the HVAC systems up and running for the people working or residing in them during the pandemic. We believe getting the vaccine is an important step to getting our community back to normal. The efficient distribution of the vaccine has allowed our frontline workers to receive the vaccine and give them another layer of protection while working in these facilities.”
