Lambton Public Health searching for dog following bite incident in Port Lambton

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred on the St. Clair River Trail around Holt Line in Port Lambton on Tuesday, June 4 at approximately 10:15 PM.

The dog is described as small, white/brown in colour, resembling a Papillon dog breed, and answers to the name “Chloe”. The dog was being walked on a retractable leash by a male with brown hair who appeared to be between 40 and 50 years old.

If you have any information relating to the location of the dog and its owner, please contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3812 or toll-free 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
