Protect Your Pets and Our Community from Rabies
Rabies is a serious but preventable disease. Vaccinating your pets is the most effective way to keep them healthy and protect the people around them. In Ontario, all dogs and cats over three months of age are legally required to be vaccinated against rabies (Health Protection and Promotion Act, R.S.O. 1990).
Lambton Public Health works with community partners to provide low-cost rabies vaccination clinics throughout the region. The clinics are:
- Open to all dogs and cats 3 months of age or older
- $30 per vaccine (cash only)
- No appointment required
- Pets must be leashed or contained
- Animals must be in good health and not vaccinated within the last year
