As a health-care provider (HCP), you have a key role in preventing and screening for disease in your patients.
Lambton Public Health encourages primary-care providers to screen for:
- Early growth and development delays, including vision and hearing tests
- Breast, cervical and colorectal cancers through coordinated provincial screening programs
- Other preventable conditions or injuries (eg. falls, substance misuse) that may be indicated by the risk profile of your patient and recommended by public health guidance
