Growth & Development for Health-care Providers

The first three years plays a crucial role in a child’s development that can influence health over the rest of the life course. Early intervention and treatment in response to developmental concerns can have a positive impact on children’s developmental and behavioural outcomes.

Health-care providers (HCPs) play an important role in supporting parents in the healthy growth and development of their children through early assessment, anticipatory guidance, treatment interventions and support.

Lambton Public Health encourages HCPs to connect families to the following resources and refer them to available programs in our community including:

  • The Looksee Checklist (formerly NDDS checklist)
  • Healthy Babies Healthy Children Program
  • EarlyON Programs
  • Child Health Line

If you are a HCP, log in or register for an online account to order or to access specific resources for HCPs.
