Teaching Skills for Healthy Relationships

Children learn healthy relationships by seeing how people around them behave. As educators, you can model and teach healthy relationship skills and behaviours to help kids of all ages to:

  • Understand and manage their emotions
  • Negotiate conflicts between each other
  • Build healthy relationships with others

As they grow, and the dimension of their relationship changes, you may be the person they turn to for advice and guidance. In addition to offering in-class teaching on healthy relationships for students, Lambton Public Health has resources to support your curricular teaching, as well as information to guide your practice.

If you are an educator, log in or register for an online account to access specific resources for you.
