Lambton Public Health searching for dog following bite incident in Sarnia

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred in Sarnia around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, on Devine St. across from Westbury Ct.

The dog is described as black, medium build, resembling a pitbull, and was being walked by a male owner who appeared to be in his late teens or early 20’s. The owner was accompanied by two other people around the same age.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
