Lambton Public Health Searching for Dog That Bit Boy

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner after a 12-year-old boy was bitten around 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 6 between Skeeter Barlow’s Grill & Bar and Kenwick Park in Bright’s Grove.

The dog, described as medium-sized black-brown possibly a Rottweiler or Rottweiler mix, was leashed and walked by a girl and young woman. The victim did not get any contact information of the owner.

If you have information relating to the location of the dog and its owner, contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 or toll free 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not located, and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will require post exposure rabies shots.
