Lambton Public Health Searching for Dog that Bit Man on Beach in Camlachie

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) is seeking information about the location of a dog, and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 12 at a public beach at the end of Dalrymple Street, in Camlachie.

The dog, described as a red Pitbull with a white patch on its chest, was on the beach with a man, woman, and two children.  The dog was not on a leash.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
