Point Edward, ON – Several low-cost rabies vaccination clinics will once again be held throughout Lambton County beginning in early April and continuing into May.
These clinics are open to all cats and dogs over three (3) months of age. Animals must be restrained, in good health, and cannot have been vaccinated against rabies within the past year. The cost per animal is $30 and is payable in cash only.
“These clinics offer an affordable way to add an additional layer of protection not just for the animals, but for humans as well,” said Lori Lucas, Supervisor of Health Protection. “Vaccinating pets is one of the most effective ways to prevent the rabies disease from spreading.”
