Providing Clinical Public Health Services
We offer clinical public health services that help individuals and support the health of our whole community. These services are designed to prevent illness, promote health, and reduce health risks for everyone.

Public Health Investigations
We investigate potential health threats to protect the community and help identify risks, trace sources, and put measures in place to keep people safe.

Understanding Community Health

Managing Diseases and Outbreaks
We work to stop the spread of infectious diseases in our community. When someone gets sick with a disease that can affect public health, we act quickly to protect them and everyone around them.
What we do:
- Case management: If someone is diagnosed or suspected of having a reportable disease, ensure they receive clear guidance and support by reaching out to them and the health care provider. This helps them recover and prevents the illness from spreading to their contacts.
- Contact management: We identify people who may have been exposed to a reportable disease. We assess their risk and provide guidance to help keep them and others safe.
- Outbreak management: When several cases happen in the same place or are linked to the same source, we investigate. We find out what caused the outbreak, put control measures in place, and work with health care and other community partners to stop it from spreading further.
