Lambton Public Health is encouraging residents to take the proper precautions to protect their health on days when air quality is poor, following Environment and Climate Change Canada’s issuance of a Special Air Quality Statement for Lambton County.
High levels of air pollution are possible through the week as a result of smoke plumes from forest fires in Quebec and northeastern Ontario.
