COVID-19 Response Operational Updates

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health (LPH) will continue to monitor the pandemic situation and modify services and internal operations in order to support the COVID-19 response effectively. The office will be closed Monday, February 15, 2021 to observe Family Day. COVID-19 case and contact management will continue to be supported, but surveillance data reports will not be updated. Updates will resume on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

School Testing Centres

Since the opening of testing centres for school and child care-aged children in September 2020, LPH has altered its hours of operation and staffing capacity to meet the fluctuating demands for school testing.

Appointments for the Petrolia site will be available once again beginning Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The site will operate Mondays and Thursdays.

Questions for LPH

Lambton Public Health recently updated its response phone lines to provide the public with more self-serve options for their questions and concerns regarding various public health measures including COVID-19. There is now a dedicated COVID-19 vaccine line that people can access to speak with a member of the COVID-19 Liaison and Response Team.
