Lambton Public Health searching for dog following bite incident in Sarnia

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, May 8 outside Vidal Variety in Sarnia.

The dog, described as a large Cane Corso with short, light brown fur, was being walked by a female owner with black hair. The owner was seen wearing black hat, black jacket, and jeans, and is thought to be between 30 and 40 years of age.

If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
