Lambton Public Health searching for dog following bite incident in Sarnia

Point Edward, ON – Lambton Public Health is seeking information about the location of a dog and its owner following a dog bite incident that occurred around 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, near the corner of Talfourd and Vidal streets.

The dog is described as a light brownish pitbull/boxer mix with a chain collar and pink leash and was being walked by a female with blonde hair who appeared to be in her 50s or 60s.

If you have any information relating to the location of the dog and its owner, please contact Lambton Public Health at 519-383-8331 ext. 3812 or toll-free 1-800-667-1839. If the dog is not located and the health status of the animal verified, the victim will need to receive post exposure rabies shots.
