Point Edward, ON – The temporary interruption to water fluoridation has ended and fluoride levels in the municipal water supply have returned to optimal levels at the Lambton Area Water Supply System (LAWSS) following completed maintenance on the fluoridation system. Drinking water remained safe throughout the maintenance period and continues to meet all regulatory standards.
Maintaining optimal fluoride levels in drinking water is a safe and effective way to prevent tooth decay and support oral health.
