Testing confirms the algal bloom sample does not produce toxins with the potential to impact human health

Point Edward, ON – Lab test results have returned in coordination with the investigation led by the Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks (MECP). Lambton Public Health (LPH) has been informed that testing has confirmed that an algae bloom detected in the Ausable River/Parkhill Creek near the Grand Bend Yacht Club does not produce toxins with the potential
to impact human health.

All recreational water activities are safe to resume.
