Community Statement from Bluewater Health and Lambton Public Health
SARNIA-LAMBTON, December 23, 2020: As COVID-19 vaccines begin to roll out across the province, Lambton Public Health and Bluewater Health are partnering to coordinate the initial delivery of COVID-19 vaccines to priority populations in Lambton County.
While a date has not been set by the province for Lambton County to receive vaccines, rest assured that we are working closely on a comprehensive distribution plan, and are prepared to receive notification from the government. Factors considered in the rollout include site selection, security, storage requirements, stakeholder involvement, and more. Multiple scenarios and plans are required due to the complexity of needs associated with different vaccines.
Lambton Public Health and Bluewater Health will continue to work with our regional and local partners to ensure that information is shared as it becomes available.
