Lambton Public Health Reopening Some Services to Public Access

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

Point Edward, ON – Effective on Monday April 4, 2022, Lambton Public Health (LPH) will reopen the main office facility to public access. This decision has been made as the Province is reducing public health measures and to support the planned COVID-19 immunization clinics at the facility.

The public can now access the following services on a walk-in basis:

  • Harm Reduction Program to distribute supplies, including Naloxone kits.
  • Well Water Testing to provide water sample kits for pick up and drop off.

All other clinical services will continue to be by appointment only.

During this transition period, a number of programs and services will continue to be suspended, offered virtually or with modified access. Full details of all service changes can be found on our website at https://lambtonpublichealth.ca/2019-novel-coronavirus/service-changes/.

Access to the facility will continue to require COVID-19 screening and masking requirements. Several of the clinical services provided fall under the public health and workplace safety measures for healthcare settings. Full details on the provincial requirements can be found on their website at: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/public-health-measures. These measures protect the health and safety of clients, caregivers and staff.
