Healthy Smiles Ontario Program

Lambton Public Health wants everyone to have a healthy smile. Prevention starts early. Brushing, flossing and regular checkups are the most important things you can do to protect your teeth, overall oral health, and well-being. Lambton Public Health helps you to navigate the system and links you to resources that support access to dental services.

Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) is a government-funded dental program that provides free preventative, routine, and emergency dental services for children and youth 17 years old and under from low-income households.

Our dental clinic may be able to provide free assistance to eligible children and youth 17 years of age and under. Services we provide include:

• Cleaning (scaling/polishing)
• Fluoride treatments
• Sealants
• Dental care lessons

You may also apply for the Healthy Smiles Ontario program to use with a participating dental professional.
