Testimonials
The program has been such a wonderful resource to my family. Our public health nurse is a wealth of knowledge, and her weekly visits are always looked forward to. Her kindness and reassuring presence have been so helpful as a first-time mom, and I encourage any new parents to consider this fantastic resource.
My son was born very tiny and spent a week in hospital before we were able to come home. Our public health nurse was one of the first visitors to our home and has been a great support as we’ve navigated breastfeeding challenges, mental health challenges, and adjusting to being a new mom. Having the support of our nurse and other moms through the program has been invaluable and I look forward to continuing to use it
The Healthy Babies, Healthy Children program is a wonderful resource. It helped to answer a wide range of questions and make sure our baby was growing and developing properly but also checked in on me and how I was recovering and what emotional support I needed. The nurses were kind, compassionate, and nurturing and I am beyond grateful to them for being such positive supports.
