Partnerships with Health Care Professionals

Supporting our Partners

Lambton Public Health partners with local organizations and groups to support health care professionals and our community.

Community Paramedic Program

The Community Paramedic Program is provided by the County of Lambton’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Department in partnership with the Ministry of Long-Term Care, Ontario Health, and Bluewater Health.

The Program is designed to assist high users of EMS and the health system to live independently at home. The paramedics assigned to this program operate in an expanded role, outside traditional emergency response and transport and have received additional training.

Lambton Drug and Alcohol Strategy

The Lambton Drug and Alcohol Strategy (LDAS) is an evidence-based strategy featuring collaboration across the health and social service sectors as well as local law enforcement, educators, and the community.
