Reproductive Health

Lambton Public Health supports educators by providing evidence-informed information, classroom supports, and consultation to support the delivery of reproductive health education in schools. 

Teaching Supports 

Educators can connect with Lambton Public Health for:

  • Curriculum-aligned information and teaching supports
  • Links to trusted health information and community resources    

These supports help educators deliver accurate, evidence-informed health education that builds students’ knowledge and skills related to healthy relationships, decision-making, and accessing health services. 

Sexual Health Public Health Nurse High School Clinics 

A Public Health Nurse provides confidential sexual health services at participating secondary schools. 

Students can access support for:  

  • Sexual health questions and concerns 
  • Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing 
  • Pregnancy testing 
  • Pregnancy options and counselling 
  • Birth control and Plan B 
  • Free condoms and other barrier methods
